Planning permission was secured by Q+A to deliver 350,000 sq. ft of new B2 and B8 employment and distribution units, alongside a range of complementary commercial uses including retail, food and drink, petrol filling statement and a hotel on land adjacent to Winsford Industrial Estate.

Q+A suggested submission of a hybrid application to capitalise on available funding from the Cheshire and Warrington LEP fund whilst meeting the client’s commercial requirements that delivered on the Council’s ambitions of unlocking the development potential of the site.

We successfully led a multi-disciplinary consultant team, including liaising with the Council and co-ordinating a series of community consultation events with key stakeholders in order to overcome policy issues to guide the application through to securing unanimous resolution to approve at planning committee.

Q+A continue to work with Public Sector Partnerships as part of their partnership arrangement with several other Local Authorities.
