Q+A Planning secured planning permission in 2021 for the creation of 48 apartments in a two storey extension above an existing commercial parade and maisonettes in Solihull Town Centre.

The site is located on a key gateway into the town centre and its proximity to Heritage Assets including a Conservation Area and listed church resulted in extensive negotiations on design matters to ensure the development respected local distinctiveness and created a sense of place.

The scheme helps to meet an identified need for dwellings to rent in a highly accessible town centre location. Following the approval of planning permission Q+A Planning are now working on an additional residential site on a key corner plot to further announce the arrival into Solihull town centre.
