Epping town centre

Q+A Planning have been promoting the redevelopment of five sites within and on the edge of Epping town centre on behalf of Qualis Commercial Ltd.

Across the five sites, the developments include a new leisure centre, a new multi-deck car park, a cinema, new commercial space and over 250 new homes. Q+A Planning were been involved in an extensive process of pre-application engagement with both the Local Planning Authority and the wider community during 2020. Planning applications for the commercial space were submitted in 2020, and for the residential schemes in 2021.

The proposals have required a careful approach to design and sustainability, together with an acknowledgement that developments need to limit any air quality impacts on the nearby Epping Forest Special Area of Conservation. Following the approval of planning permission, we are now working with the client on project delivery
